Cosmos is a commissioned piece located in Orem, UT. It is much like Orbital and Solar in that it is suspended from the ceiling and operates on a single gear motor. All the objects rotate around the central axis driven by various chains and sprockets that also rotate elements around an off set axis.
Cosmos is suspended in a skylight space by a large custom built framework that ties into the sculpture as well as the architecture.
