Nine to Five is a Rolling Ball Sculpture commissioned by a local company in Orem, UT. They are the parent company of several smaller divisions that do all types of construction. Some of the areas they specialize in are excavating, grading, cement, asphalt and a history of bridge and highway construction. They wanted this piece to reflect all of these areas of their business. The piece is located in their new corporate office.
It uses one large ball bearing along with many smaller half-inch bearings that all circulate through the various aspects of the sculpture.
